Speech Language Pathology Services

Speech, Language, Feeding, and Swallowing

Welcome to Communicating Together Inc. Speech Language Services. Speech Language Pathologists here to help.

Why reach out to a Speech Language Pathologist? One in six people in Canada have a communication disorder. Communication disorders include speech, language, hearing, as well as feeding and swallowing disorders. Both communication and eating are vital to the quality of our lives. Because communication disorders can have a significant impact on an individual’s physical, emotional, social, vocational, and financial well being, it is important to identify problems early on. No matter how old you are, the sooner that a disorder is identified, the better the chances are for improvement.  Speech Language Pathologists are licensed professionals who are able to diagnose and treat communication disorders.

At Communicating Together Inc., our speech language pathologists are committed to helping individuals create positive change in the quality of their lives by improving their communication and eating skills.  We work with both children and adults who have difficulties with speaking clearly, understanding, talking or eating.

Our Company Vision is focused on 3 Core Values:

  • Dedicated to innovative and evidence-based practice
  • Committed to exceeding customer expectations
  • A passion for positive lasting relationships with or clients, families, and communities

We do our utmost to ensure quality speech and language intervention programs and compassionate support to families and children.

You may be able to access speech language services at no cost to you from your local health centre or school. This site, however, is dedicated to accessing contracted or privately paid speech language services.  Extended health insurance often will reimburse you for private speech and language services. Check with your health insurance company.

We travel all over Alberta to remote, rural, and First Nations communities to provide communication support (in the form of assessment, intervention, training, and counselling services) in the client’s home community. We also offer virtual services (assessment, consultation, staff training, and therapy) using a variety of platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe, Microsoft Teams, etc.

Our goal is to develop positive lasting relationships with our clients, families, and communities. All other tasks are built upon this crucial foundation.

The CTI Team will collaborate with you to determine the best approach to suit your needs and budget.
